Dr. Raman Chopra, MS, DVM
Dr. Raman Chopra, MS, DVM joined our hospital in 2019 and has been a valued member of our veterinary team ever since. Prior to joining our practice, he spent several years at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) / Harvard Medical School before continuing his veterinary career at Pine Banks Animal Hospital.
With over 30 years of experience in small animal medicine, Dr. Chopra is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. As the owner of the practice, he leads the hospital with a strong commitment to medical excellence, teamwork, and patient well-being. He also has a special passion for working with animal shelters and supporting the care of animals in need.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Chopra enjoys reading and gardening, interests that bring balance and inspiration to his life beyond veterinary medicine.
Amme Dellaporta, CVT
Amme Dellaporta, CVT is our Senior Veterinary Technician and has been a dedicated member of our hospital team for more than 20 years. She began her journey with the hospital as a volunteer and, through hard work, commitment, and a deep passion for animal care, worked her way up to becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician and now serves as our Senior Vet Tech.
With decades of hands-on experience, Amme is known for her knowledge, compassion, and leadership. She plays a vital role in mentoring staff, supporting our veterinarians, and ensuring the highest standard of care for every patient.
Outside of the hospital, Amme enjoys spending time with her four cats and cherishing moments with her grandchildren, who bring her great joy.
Laura, Hardegree BS, CVT
Laura, Hardegree BS, CVT is a Certified Veterinary Technician and a valued member of our hospital team. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012 and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2017.
Laura joined our hospital in 2019. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience working at Pine Banks and Angell Memorial Animal Hospital, where she developed strong clinical skills and a passion for high-quality patient care.
Dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate, Laura plays an important role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring every patient receives excellent care.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys arts and crafts, including knitting and crocheting. She also loves spending time with her kitten, Mr. Biscuits, who keeps her busy and entertained at home.
